New Features/Changes:
New Media Note Tags:
- Now that Social Media (short) and Social Media (long) note types have been combined, there is a new tag to include those notes - <OCP_NOW_MEDIA_SOCIALNOTES>
- Now that RDS and Digital Radio note types have been combined, there is a new tag to include those notes - <OCP_NOW_MEDIA_DRNOTES> - the existing <OCP_NOW_MEDIA_DABNOTES> does also still work for existing outputs.
Outputs:
- AIM Rapid by XPERI: Myriad OCP Pro now has an output template to send now playing information to AIM Rapid.
- AIM Radio API/DTS AutoStage: The existing AIM Radio API output has been updated with the latest specification from AIM.
- Cirrus by Securenet Systems: Myriad OCP Pro now has an output template to send now playing information to Securenet Systems' Cirrus platform.
- File/FTP Output: There is a new option on this output that allows you to select the text encoding method used - for example, you may need to force ASCII or UNICODE output format.
Station Enablers:
- All OCP stations now require a Station Enabler to allow Myriad Playout to send information to Myriad OCP. If you already have a Station Enabler code for your station then there is no further action required and Myriad OCP will run straight away.
- If you don't currently have a Station Enabler code, please contact hello@broadcastradio.com for more information.
- Station Enablers are available free of charge to all existing stations who have a full Myriad Playout license.
The following issues have been fixed:
- HTTP and Broadcast.Radio outputs: These outputs were wrongly treating a single "#" in the information to send as an instruction to split the message into multiple parts.
v6.2.2 4th September 2023
The following issues have been fixed:
- Format Creator Window: Pressing the delete key near a Tag could sometimes remove too much text, and could on occasions result in OCP exiting.
v6.2.1 12th July 2023
New Features/Changes:
Now Playing information:
- You can now set the Show Name as well as Title via the manual option to show now playing information
v6.1.4
New Features/Changes:
Outputs:
- There are three new tags:
- <OCP_SPECIAL_ONAIRLOCATIONID> The Location ID of the On-Air computer.
- <OCP_SPECIAL_ONAIRLOCATIONNAME> The Location Name of the On-Air computer.
- <OCP_SPECIAL_ONAIRNETWORKNAME> The Network Name of the On-Air computer.
v6.1.3 16th May 2023
New Features/Changes:
Outputs:
- Adding a new output: You can now fast navigate the list of available templates by pressing the first letter of that output - for example pressing "h" will just down the list to the HTTP output
- Icecast: The default template for new Icecast Outputs now includes a charset section to tell Icecast that OCP may be sending non English characters.
- Outputs List: The "OK" caption will now show as a blue clickable hyperlink if there is additional information to display. For example, Icecast sometimes returns "OK" for an update requests even though it has actually rejected the update due to some internal source restrictions. Clicking the hyperlink to see the extended status will now show the full response provided by the Icecast server.
The following issues have been fixed:
- TCP/IP Connections: Myriad OCP would occasionally stop sending updates to connections to TCP/IP devices that were set to close after sending each message.
- Adding Outputs: Creating some outputs from the templates (for example Broadcast Radio Logging) would not set the text format to use when sending the message.
v6.1.2 26th April 2023
New Features/Changes:
Outputs:
- Paneda: Myriad OCP Pro now has a built in output to send now playing information to Paneda DAB Networks.
- HTTP Outputs: You can now enter a Bearer token instead of a username and password.
Twitter Outputs:
- Following Twitter's decision to remove basic access to it's API, to continue posting Social Media messages to Twitter you will now need to create a free Twitter Developer account and create an "app" to get a pair of API key and API Secret. This process is currently relatively simple, and you can find more details at https://broadrad.com/TwitterApp
REST API:
- Added information about the current state of all configured Outputs for each Station.
The following issues have been fixed:
- Firewall: The firewall rules would not be correctly updated/created in some non-english versions of Windows.
v6.1.1 22nd March 2023
New Features/Changes:
Outputs:
- Broadcast.Radio: There is a new dedicated Broadcast.Radio output that makes it very simple to add in a send to the https://broadcast.radio platform as you now only need to enter the API key from https://my.broadcast.radio/station/x/options/playout page and click OK. If you have already added the API key into your main Station Settings in Myriad then it will even enter this information for you.
