Myriad Schedule v5 - Version History
v5.32.1 28th March 2023
New Features/Changes:
Advert Log File formats:
- Added in extra handling to read the "Reference Length" column from some unusual Easy Spot advert log file formats.
Copyright reports:
- PPI EIRE: There is a new version of the PPI report that now includes the ISC column.
- PRS UK Music Return: There is a new version of the PRS Music report that collates the total number of plays instead of having a single report line entry for each play.
The following issues have been fixed:
- Media Playback: Re-cueing an item that was almost at the end of the file would sometimes be ejected from the player when it was then subsequently re-started.
- Media Players: The option to only make a Player visible when it is playing something was not being used if players were set to Automatic assignment.
- Media Mass Changer: Fixed a problem where mass changing Media Item attributes (such as Category, Type, Tag etc. ) would not save correctly if you are set for all stations to share the same attibutes. This could then lead to an error message about not being able to update items in the Media Decks.
- Clock Editing: Using the Edit Item window to edit an Advert Break item and selecting a specific category would not save that choice when saving the clock.
- Clock Editing: Creating a new Clock could cause Myriad to close if you did not have any Station Rule's created.
- User Security: Upgrading from very old versions of Myriad v5 could result in some users not being able to login due to not being granted permissions to access any stations in the database.
v5.31.4 5th October 2022
The following issues have been fixed:
- Media Editing: Changing a Basic Media item to a Song or Link would result in the item being automatically marked as available to schedule.
- Schedule Pass Order: Schedule Plus users could not succesfully alter the pass order for Song and Link Categories. Myriad Anywhere Schedule was unaffected.
- Scheduling Songs/Links: You could not replace items that were left as unscheduled positions by Myriad Schedule running in non-enhanced mode, if you tried then you would receive an error message abouve an invalid date time.
- User Security Groups: Changes made to a brand new security group's permissions were not being saved to the Directory. You had to close and re-open the Directory Settings before changes to the permissions would be saved.
v5.31.3 17th August 2022
New Features/Changes:
Station Rules:
- By default, new Station Rules now have the search depth for Link Categories set to 100%. This also applies when importing from AutoTrack v4 and SE databases.
The following issues have been fixed:
- Scheduling Adverts: Adverts would fail to schedule if no Collisions were set, or if an advert was configured to use ranges and no value was specified for the 00 hour.
v5.31.2 2nd August 2022
The following issues have been fixed:
- Import Wizard: Importing items that did not have embedded metadata could result in the item showing as <Untitled> on the MediaWall.
- Import Wizard: Fixed a problem with text being garbled on some drop down lists.
- Dropdown lists: Several dropdown lists including in the Import Wizard and the Media Editor would not respond correctly to being clicked into to drop it down.
- Scheduling: Scheduling items from an Advanced clock would sometimes ignore the Chain Type set in the Clock and instead use the default setting from Station Settings.
- Security: The new default security group permissions were accidentally being applied to some existing installations of Myriad instead of being limited to only apply to new installations.
v5.31.1 29th June 2022
New Features/Changes:
Scheduling by Year (Myriad Schedule Plus):
- Myriad Schedule Plus users can now set each Song or Link position in a Clock to come from a specific year, a range of years, or be set to "<Ask>" in which case Myriad will ask you what year to use when it first comes to schedule that hour. To use this feature, you must have turned on the Enhanced 'Deck based' scheduling feature.
- This feature is ideal for clocks that need to have a selection of songs from a specific period (for example 3 songs that must be from 1980-1989) or for a "Guess The Year" feature where it uses <Ask> so you can set a different year each day.
- Because you can also specify the year for Link items, it means you can also have Link Idents that are also from the specified year - for example you could set the Clock Link position so it can only play links that have their First Release Year set to 1996, and place this before the songs to tease that you're going to play "3 from 1996", or have a link position that runs after the sequence to reveal the Guess The Year answer.
- Importing Clocks from AutoTrack will now also import any Start and End Year information from Song and Link items.
- Important note: Currently only scheduling in Myriad Playout or Myriad Schedule are able to ask you what Year, you are not yet able to do this via Myriad Anywhere Schedule, but this will be added in a future release.
Segue Editing:
- SegueEditor: Users are now prevented from trying to add volume instructions to Songs in the log that are actually media lists with more than one item in. This is because these lists cannot have the volumes adjusted during playback. This does not affect list items that only play a single item.
Reports:
- Media Reports: The Media Report now shows a new Date Created column.
- Schedule Log Reports: The Schedule Warnings report now reports any media items in the scheduled log that have a valid external reference, but could not be resolved to a Media Item when the Log was imported. When the hour starts playing, Myriad will regularly try to resolve that item to the correct Media Item.
- Software version summary report: There is a new report on the System Reports sub menu that shows a list of all of the Myriad v5 software used on each PC in the last 30 days. It will also show the version number for any Myriad software running v5.31 or higher.
Media Editing/Import:
- Media Editor: When you open the Media Editor on an empty media item, you now see a large Import button in the center of the window, and also on the ribbon at the top of the window.
- Media Editor: There is a new "Replace Audio" button on the Edit ribbon. This allows you to quickly and easily replace the audio for a media item while preserving all other existing information such as title, notes etc. When you replace the audio, Myriad checks the file you are importing and if it contains timing information or copyright information then this is imported into the editor to save you having to re-set Intro/Extro etc. If the file doesn't contain any timing information then Myriad will use the normal rules for automatic extro etc.
- There is also a new Replace Audio menu option on the right click menu on the Media Grid view that does the same thing without needing to open the Media Editor.
- Import Wizard: If the import wizard is set to delete files after import, all related files are now deleted as well - i.e. files that have the same filename, but a different extension. For example when importing C:\temp\myfile.wav any related files such as c:\temp\myfile.xml and c:\temp\myfile.csv will also be deleted.
Scheduling:
- In the Schedule Log window for Schedule Plus enabled stations, the buttons used to change the category pass orders have moved to the right hand side of the list, instead of being on each category in the list.
- The Clock Editor can now show category weightings for even just a single category.
Advert Management:
- There is a new Add Advert button on the ribbon on the Advert Management window.
Database Settings:
- Media: There are several new settings in Myriad Database Settings>Media that allow you to set the audio format used by Remote Edit Server for remote users. You can also set the duration of audio that the remote users will hear when previewing the start and end of media items. These settings were previously located in Remote Edit Server settings and were therefore per-machine, so have been moved so that the same settings will be used even if you have to move Remote Edit Server to another computer.
Station Settings:
- AutoFade: Stations in new databases now have Time Stretch enabled by default.
Security:
- When Myriad runs for the first time and creates the security database, the first user is now automatically assigned to the Administrators Security group. The defauly Security groups are also now pre-set with some recommended default permissions.
- When creating a new contact in the User Security window, the user is now pre-enabled to allow Login to Myriad so you don't have to turn this option on each time.
- There are new permissions available that allow you to control which features users can use in the separate Myriad Anywhere News product.
- There is a new permission to control whether a security group (or user) has permission to edit users remotely using Myriad Anywhere.
The following issues have been fixed:
- Editing Media Scheduling information: When you changed the option to allow a Song or Link to be scheduled for a station, that change would not always be reflected in any Child Stations and the item would still be scheduled in those stations.
- Editing Media Notes: The item would not save if you had turned on the 'between' times option.
- Clock Editing: If a clock was set to use the weightings from the selected Station Rules, then the estimated hour duration was not always being shown correctly.
- Clock Editing: When editing an Advanced Clock, changing the Category was not updating the estimated Start Time column.
- Clock Editing: Working on per-category rule overrides would not always save the adjacent day settings for Song Title and Artist rules for Schedule Plus users.
- Scheduling Sweepers: Forcing a media item in an Advanced Clock where the media item is set to "Play as a sweeper" would not correctly set the chain type to sweep.
- Scheduling Adverts: An error message would be displayed and scheduling would stall if you had specified a Range for one or more hours, but then did not enter a number of plays for that range.
- Log Editing: Adding a Split Group item to the log manually would not honour the setting to set the chain type to Auto.
- Importing information from AutoTrack: Myriad Schedule Standard users could not import Style information as Tags.
- Marketron Advert Log Merge: The first advert in a spot break could accidentally be attached to the end of the previous break under certain circumstances.
- Showing Item Information from Log: This did not show additional information like Release Year or notes etc.
- Database File Statistics Report: The eport was wrongly showing Advert related tables as having high fragmentation.
- Media Engine Settings: Fixed an issue where changing the soundcard settings was wrongly saving the settings for Myriad Playout instead of Myriad Schedule.
v5.29.5 26th April 2022
The following issues have been fixed:
- Scheduling Item Separation: Items could sometimes be scheduled slightly closer than the specified setting for minimum separation, but never more than 60 minutes closer, however this was noticeable if your minimum separation was set to 60 minutes.
v5.29.4 1st March 2022
The following issues have been fixed:
- Advert Management: Selecting Custom Date range would not show the correct list of adverts. As part of resolving this issue, the "Scheduling" column has been renamed to "Issues" and the content has been made clearer.
v5.29.3 16th February 2022
The following issues have been fixed:
- Advert Scheduler: Fixed an issue where some legacy breaks were not getting the correct Category information so had to be manually reset.
- Media Mass Changer: Mass changing an item's attributes (such as Category/Type etc.) would not always take effect if you were making the change to a secondary Station (i.e. Station ID > 0)
- Security: Some users could successfully start Myriad if it was running on a PC connected to an Azure Active Directory Domain.
v5.29.2 19th January 2022
New Features/Changes:
Advert Scheduling:
- Based on feedback from the beta testers the randomisation used to choose which hour from a Range will be tried first when placing ranged hours has been adjusted.
- The algorithm used to determine which order to consider adverts in has also been adjusted to further improve the way adverts are spread, particularly when you are running more adverts than you actually have slots for - for example, wanting 20 adverts to play in an hour, but only having 3 breaks with a max of 6 adverts per break meaning that 2 adverts will always be unable to place.
- The algorithm has also been adjusted to slightly prefer spreading ranged adverts across multiple hours (to help reduce them playing, for example, twice in one hour when other hours in the range are not used. If the breaks in the other hours are not suitable (for example have advert conflicts) then you will still see the advert placed 2 or more times in the same hour.
- When scheduling adverts using the Schedule Log Window, a progress indication is now displayed on the right hand progress panel.
- Advert Management: Double clicking an advert in the Log Report section now opens the advert for editing.
The following issues have been fixed:
- Scheduling Adverts: You could only schedule Adverts in Station 0 if you are sharing attributes with all stations.
- Scheduling Adverts: Some adverts would not be scheduled correctly if you scheduled with variable number of days.
- Scheduling Adverts: Nudging the date/time range in the Schedule Log: Adverts would sometimes only merge in the adverts for the first hour of the selected day.
- Media Import: Importing CUE file information would not correctly detect some additional characters or accents.
- Song and Link Decks: Items were accidentally being removed from decks for stations that were not child stations if you are sharing attributes with all stations.
- Adverts Tested/Rejected history: This information was not being correctly preserved for all hours when re-scheduling adverts for the same day.
- Scheduled Log Import from log files: Advert breaks that had not been merged yet were being shown as (Invalid) instead of Non-Scheduled
- Command Line Utility Export Log: This was not correctly honouring the option to use UTC for the filenames when run from on a pc that was not in the UTC/GMT timezone.
v5.29.1 7th December 2021
New Features/Changes:
This release contains several major new features, so please do read the full history below carefully. Some of the headline new features are:
- Song and Link scheduling has had a massive overhaul to bring new "Station Rules" with many new rules and scheduling criteria.
- Advert Scheduling is now built natively into Myriad to easily schedule adverts and other promos directly from inside Myriad Playout. This replaces the older separate Myriad Advert Manager SE product and has been significantly rewritten to improve the way adverts are chosen and placed.
- Send Now Playing information updates DURING media items - for example, media items that contain long pre-recorded shows can now be set to send Now Playing information as each song within the recording starts.
New Song and Link Scheduling features:
This release of Myriad contains several major new improvements to Myriad Schedule, building on the work in the previous v5.28 release, so please take a moment to review the following information as well as reviewing this help article.
The biggest change to scheduling Songs and Links is that Rules are now located in a new single "Station Rules" set.
The first time you run this new release of Myriad it reads the old Title and Artist separation settings that were previously set in the Station Settings window, and combines those with any overrides that were set previously set in the Categories tab in the Station Attributes window and creates a new Station Rules set that is then saved for the station and marked as the Default Station Rules. You will see that there is a new Station Rules menu option available to access this new combined set of rules, and those older settings have now been removed from the Station Settings and Station Attributes windows.
You can have as many Station Rules sets as you like, and then each Clock can be assigned to use either the Default Station Rules, or to use a specific set of Station Rules instead - for example, a specialist Rock show might use a different set of Rules compared to the rest of your station's output. See below for more information on the new Station Rules editor.
Station Rules:
- The new Station Rules system gives you powerful control over your Myriad Schedule configuration, as well as bringing together various disparate rules editors into a single place.
- You can see a list of all Station Rules by clicking the new Station Rules button on the left hand menu bar.
- You can have as many Station Rules sets as you want, and you can select a single one to be the "default" to be used for all Clocks that don't have a specific Station Rules set selected.
- By using different Station Rules sets, you can easily use the same settings across multiple hours, and have dedicated Station Rules for shows that need a different set of criteria.
- Within Station Rules you control the Category Weightings used to decide which Song and Link Categories should be chosen when a Clock item is set to "Use Goals" as well as which Categories can follow other categories.
- You can also control how many of each Category can be in a row - for example you might allow 1 to 2 Pop songs in a row, but never more than 1 Rock song in a row.
- Schedule Plus users can also control category "separation" - i.e. how many other categories must be placed before another song from the same category - for example, you might want a minimum of 4 non-Image songs to be placed before another Image song can be scheduled.
- Schedule Plus users can also control how many of each Type, Gender and Era can be in a row, as well as being able to control the Separation between plays of the same Type/Gender/Era and also which can Types/Genders and Eras can follow each other - for example, Girl Groups might not be allowed to follow songs by single female artists.
- For songs that you have set Styles on, you can now control how many of those in a row can be placed - e.g. no more than 2 "Party Classics" songs in a row.
- You can now select exactly which Rules should be used in each category, as well being able to add multiple "breakable" versions of the rules - for example, you might have a hard non-breakable rule that songs by the same artists cannot be played with 4 hours, but then add a Breakable version of the rule to say that ideally you would prefer 8 hour separation, but that you will accept that rule being broken if absolutely essential.
- Schedule Plus users also get additional rules to control Type, Gender and Era min/max/sep and follow, as well as Yesterday/Tomorrow simlar time rules.
- Importing from AutoTrack: You can now import all of your AutoTrack v4/SE Clock Rules as new individual Station Rules, and also import a specifed pair of AutoTrack Clock Rules and Global Rules into a new combined Station Rules. These options are on the Import ribbon on the new List Station Rules window.
Advert Scheduler:
Myriad now contains an advanced built in Advert Scheduler and is designed for small and medium sized stations that need to schedule adverts using an easy to use system, but require more than just the basic rotation you would get by using rotating items or a Link category. This feature is designed to replace the older Advert Manager SE product and offers many significant improvements including full integration with the Media Editor as well as a new significantly updated scheduling engine with several major changes over the older ADSE product.
- To enable the new Advert Scheduler, go into Station Settings and on the new Adverts tab turn on the Schedule Adverts using the built in Advert Scheduler option.
- To mark an advert as needing to be scheduled, go into the Media Editor, and on the new Advert tab you will see a new button that you click to enable the advert to be scheduled. You will then see the new Plays grid which allows you to specify how many times per hour, or set 'ranges' of hours so you can specify a number of plays across multiple hours.
- There is a new Advert Report option on the Reports menu that allows you to easily see all current/previous/future adverts, as well as several reports to understand how many adverts and breaks are in place across your scheduled log.
- Scheduling Adverts is now fully integrated into the normal schedule process, and the check box on the Schedule Log window allows you to control whether adverts should be scheduled at the same time as the main log is scheduled (or imported), or by unchecking it, leave it until a few items before the end of the previous hour.
- If you want to separately re-schedule adverts, there is a new mode on the Schedule Log window that will remove adverts from the log, regenerate the advert schedule and then re-merge the new scheduled adverts into the log.
- Full detail about the new Advert Scheduler can be found on the help pages at https://help.broadcastradio.com
Other advert related changes to note are:
- Advert related station settings: the setting for which currency symbol to display as well as the advert log import options have moved onto the new Adverts tab on the Station Settings window.
Now Playing Information:
- You can now send Now Playing items during a playing Media Item - for example a pre-recorded show or show segment might be made up of several songs, and you want to send the correct Now Playing information as each song that has been included in that Media Item starts.
- Myriad uses this information when playing items from the Scheduled Log, and will automatically send now playing information to Myriad OCP v5, Myriad Network SE, Myriad OCP SE and Broadcast Radio Encoder connections.
- When the item starts playing, the now playing information will show the name of the actual media item until it reaches the first Now Playing Information time point at which point it will switch to showing that as the current item. Once the item has started playing, then the "next" to play information will also then update to show all the remaining now playing information from the rest of the media item before then rolling on to show the next items in the log. Note that this "next" information is not displayed until the item starts.
- You can either enter this information manually via the Media Editor, or it can be imported along with audio when you import from a file.
- To enter the information manually, Edit the media item, then on the View ribbon tab click the Now Playing button to show the Now Playing tile on the right hand side of the editor window. You can then highlight the section of the audio and click the Add (+) button to add that to the list, and enter the Title and Artist(s) information. Multiple Artists are supported by pressing enter to add another line to the Artist text box.
- Mixing down the Pad or a Log Section to a file or to a media item also now creates the Now Playing information list.
- When importing new audio files, Myriad checks for a file with the same filename as the media file but with a .CUE extension, and then imports the contents. Supported formats for this file are :
- Transport files also now include any Now Playing information so this information will be preserved when sending transport files.
- When exporting audio files to a folder, there is a new option in Database Settings on the MediaWall tab under "When exporting files from the MediaWall" that allows you to control if the Cue file should be written. This option is on by default.
Main Window:
- There is a new Media Grid button that will display the familiar Media Grid view in a floating window.
Media Editing:
- When you open the Media Editor from a list of media items - for example, Media Library Search results, or the Deck Viewer - then the previous and next buttons on the Media Editor window now move you to the next or previous item that was in the list when you opened the editor. For example, you might open the Deck Viewer, then select a category, then double click on an item to open the editor. Pressing the previous and next buttons will then "walk" you up and down all the items in that Category.
Item Histories:
- There is a new option on the left hand menu bar to show the Item History Window. On this window you can select a Media Item, an Artist or even a Song or Link Category and see a grid of the total number of times per hour that that item has been scheudled across a range of weeks.
- This information is incredibly useful to see which items are rotating more heavily than others, as well as seeing how often a Category is being called to help determine the best number of items that should be in a category to prevent items appearing to come round too often.
- You can also quickly access this information from the Media Editor window to see the Item History for the item, or for each of the Artists that performed the item.
Clocks:
- Clock Editor: You can now select which Station Rules each Clock will use, or leave it set to using the current "default" station rules set.
- Clock Editor: On each clock, you can now choose whether to use the Category Weigthings and Title and Artist separation rules in the Station Rules set, or whether to override the selections with custom settings just for this clock.
- Clock Editor: The Category Weightings are now shown on a handy pie chart to indicate the breakdown that will be used when choosing which Category to use for Clock items set to "Use Goals".
- Clock Assignments Window: There is a new option on the More Options button that lets you see a list of all Clocks and the Station Rules that are in use by that Clock.
Log Display:
- Schedule Plus users can now turn on Gender and Era columns in the Log View.
Scheduling Window:
- The Scheduling window has had several UI improvements to make it easier to select dates/times, and it is now much clearer that you can selectively unschedule categories as an option instead of just fully removing hours.
- If you click to unschedule some hours and one of more of them has been edited you will now be asked if you are sure you want to remove that hour.
Reports:
- There are 2 new options on a new Scheduling Analysis sub menu on the Report menu that lets you quickly see a list of the top Rule Fails for each scheduled hour.
- You can edit the date range used for dates based reports from within the Report Results so you don't have to re-run the report just to change the date range in use.
- There is a new Reports ribbon on the Media Editor that lets you see Media Item specific reports.
Media Item Reports:
- If you have turned on the option to keep a log of when items were considered but rejected whilst scheduling, you can now view the history of times when a specific media item was considered for any log position and the reason it was rejected. This can be accessed from the new Reports ribbon in the Media Editor window. This can also be accessed from the new Reports ribbon on the Media Editor window.
User Management:
- User Management and Settings have moved to a new Security menu to make it easier to manage your user accounts. This menu is only shown to users that have permission to edit users, contacts, or security settings.
- LDAP Integration: You can now configure Myriad to check user passwords against an external LDAP Server. This is then used for local logins via Myriad Playout and Myriad Schedule, and also for remote logins via Remote Edit Server, for example with Myriad Anywhere, Myriad RVT and Myriad Remote Pro. For more information about this new feature please see https://broadrad.com/ldaphelp
- The User and Contact Managment window has a new streamlined look.
Attribute Import:
- Importing Attribute names from v4/SE: On the Station Attributes window, you can now import all the names for just a specific Attribute Type from Myriad v4/SE - for example, you may want to only import the Link Type names, rather than all Song+Link Categories+Types+Genders+Eras etc.
- Advert Collision names and News Audio Category name import from v4/SE: You can now import Advert Collision names as Advert Tags and also Myriad News v4 Audio Category names as News Media Categories.
Command Line Utility:
- Myriad Schedule now comes with the Command Line Utility so you can use windows scheduled tasks to automate scheduling and other processes on the same PC that Myriad Schedule is installed on.
The following issues have been fixed:
- Media Editor: Users who did not have permission to alter an item's categorisation could still use the top Category dropdown list if you only have a single station or are using shared attributes.
- Clock Editor: The Clock Editor was wrongly showing a Category Selector for News Media Items. This has been removed, and you are now required to select a Media ID for News Media items in Clocks.
- Clock Editor: You could add a Clock to itself as a Clock line which would then cause a problem when you tried to schedule an hour using that Clock.
- Importing Clocks from AutoTrack: Schedule Plus users using the Import Clocks from AutoTrack to import clocks that contained lines that specified multiple Type/Gender/Eras would only get the first attribute assignment imported.
- Duplicate Media Finder: The finder could sometimes cause a large rise in memory use if used multiple times. It would also cause the display of Myriad to be sluggish whilst running.
- Tested item history: If you have a VERY large number of items in the tested and rejected history then Myriad was unable to remove old entries during the normal schedule process, and this can cause slow performance. This process has now been changed to work its way through the backlog in batches so that it can remove those older items. The first time this process runs at the end of Scheduling you may see that it takes a long period of time while it removes this backlog. After this process has completed then future processes will be much faster.
- Deck Management: The option to check that all decks contain the correct items would report and error on databases configured to use SQL replication.
- Deck Viewers: The Song and Link deck menu options were disabled unless you had full permissions, but those same users using the Deck Viewers that are embedded in Layouts could wrongly use the shuffle functions.
- Log Editing: Insert advert break placeholder was missing from the right click menu in the Log Editor.
- Log Information Report: This was not correctly showing information for secondary stations.
- Check for software updates: Checking for updates was not correctly detecting if an update was available
v5.28.4 2nd November 2021
New Features/Changes:
Importing Media Items:
- When importing an mp3 file, if the "Subtitle" field is set, then this is now imported as the Item Description for the media item.
Log Display:
- Based on feedback from stations, Soft Deleted items now always show their duration on screen so you can easily see which items might be best to "un-soft-delete" when you are working on your hour timings.
Scheduling:
- Scheduling window: You can now minimise the Schedule Window.
The following issues have been fixed:
- Scheduling Logs: If you had specified that items were partially restricted on some days of a week, then they would also be rejected on days where they were actually fully allowed - for example, a song that was prevented from playing on weekday evenings only, would actually be rejected all weekends as well, even thought they were allowed for all hours of Saturday and Sunday.
v5.28.3 22nd September 2021
The following issues have been fixed:
- Log View: The Fill this hour was still incorrectly being shown on the right click menu when Enhanced Scheduling mode was turned on. This menu option is now correctly only shown with Enhanced mode is turned off, or when using a "child" station.
- Scheduling Logs: Automatic scheduling of secondary stations would not schedule any songs or links if you were using shared categorisations and had not saved a Default Scheduling preset in the new Schedule Log Window.
v5.28.2 7th September 2021
New Features/Changes:
The following issues have been fixed:
- Scheduling Logs: Selecting "Next 2 weeks" from the drop down date selector was only selecting the next 1 week.
- Scheduling Logs: Scheduling logs in Enhanced mode was wrongly setting the 'Chain Type' on Song and Links to the setting in database settings for whether to put a stop on the end of new log items. It should have been honouring the value set in the Advanced Clock.
- Scheduling Logs: Scheduling logs in Enhanced mode was not taking into account any default category override rules set in the Attributes window. Per-Clock overrides were still working correctly.
- Scheduling Logs: Fixed an issue where saving presets for stations with many categories would not save.
- Advert Log merge: One of the ribbon buttons to start the Merge Advert Logs process was wrongly opening the main Schedule Log Window.
- Default Category Rules: Custom Category rules for a category would not be saved if one of the other attributes with the same number was blank - e.g. Category 4's rules would not save if Era 4 was blank.
v5.28.1 11th August 2021
New Features/Changes:
First public release:
- This is the first public release of the Myriad Schedule application. This application is optimised for users who need to manage their media library and scheduling. Unlike Myriad Playout, it does not contain the ability to play the scheduled log as it's primary focus is to schedule, view and edit hours in the Scheduled Log.
- All of the features available in the Myriad Schedule application are also available in Myriad Playout, but are located on the Menus instead.
- The Myriad Schedule application requires either a Myriad Playout Admin or Studio license, or there is a new license mode available for computers that only need to run Myriad Schedule. For more information please contact hello@broadcastradio.com
User Security:
- There is a new Security Permission that controls whether users can login to the Myriad Schedule application. By default, this permission is on, but can be changed at a group or user level.
