Myriad Logging Playback v5 - Version History
v5.17.2
The following issues have been fixed:
- CUE files would not import correctly into Myriad Playout due to the start and end times being in date format not time format.
v5.17.1 17th February 2022
The following changes have been made:
- The Listen Again application now has the option to create a CUE file if there is NowPlaying metadata in the Logging database. The CUE file specifies Title, Artist and Start & End times for audio in the exported audio file. To facilitate this, the NowPlaying XML format has changed to add <title> and <artist> fields.
- Logging Playback & Logging Monitor will now display this Title and Artist information if it is present in the database, otherwise the usual Description is displayed.
- The Listen Again application can now export any NowPlaying metadata in the Logging database up to Mixcloud as a tracklist.
- The Listen Again application can now put the air date of the exported file in the Title of the Mixcloud export, using the tag <OCP_AIRDATE>.
The following issues have been fixed:
- A runtime error would occur in Listen Again when browsing for an output filename if the existing filename contained an OCP Tag e.g.
<OCP_CURRENTDATE>.
v5.16
The following changes have been made:
- The Mixcloud publisher can now accept the current date in the Title field, specified as <OCP_CURRENTDATE> or optionally with a format string in the form <OCP_CURRENTDATE:format>. The Mixcloud settings also allow this tag in the Description field.
- The Listen Again creator would not load the Mixcloud upload title from an .la5 file.
- Exporting multiple audio segments into a compilation would sometimes miscalculate the required times and result in short compilations.
- There is now the option to override the path used by client software (Logging Playback and Listen Again) to access Logs. By default, this uses the local path to the Log directory, rather than the UNC path, although the path specified in "ClientPathOverride" in the Catalogue file can be edited manually. The Catalogue Editor application can also be used to set this path to the local Log path or any form of path you choose.
v5.15
The following changes have been made:
- The Logging Playback audio engine has been changed to the Windows Audio Session API (WASAPI). This provides more responsive audio peak meters.

v5.12 17th April 2019
The following changes have been made:
- Quick Export items are now not automatically removed from the Quick Export list. Each item now has a context menu to remove it from the list. A menu item has also been added to this context menu to open the location of the file with it selected.
