Myriad Advert Manager SE - Version History
v4.5.31 29th June 2022
The following issues have been fixed:
- Editing the audio: The media editor was not showing
the additional Schedule Plus fields for Type/Gender/Era etc. for
Schedule Plus enabled Stations.
- Finding first available Media item in Adverts:
Clicking the button to import/edit an Advert to make it automatically
find the first empty Media item would cause Advert Manager SE to pause
(or even exit) if the first Media item in that range was empty - for
example, if the Links range is 1-500, and Media item 1 is empty, then
clicking the button to import a wav file would cause this issue.
v4.5.29 8th December 2021
No major changes.
v4.5.28 11th August 2021
New Features/Changes:
Media Editor:
v4.5.26-R2 29th March 2020
No major changes.
v4.5.26 8th March 2021
New Features/Changes:
Advert Log Merge:
- If the advert break placeholder in the Myriad Schedule/AutoTrack
Clock is "Locked", then all adverts merged into that break will also now
be Locked.
User Security:
- There is a new File Locations option that allows you to specify a
different Directory Database Name. This is useful for situations where
you need to use a different user database for totally separate stations.
This setting is stored per profile, so will affect all Myriad
Applications on the same PC.
v4.5.25 R2 15th December 2020
Advert Scheduling:
- When adverts are marked to be played using the ABCD time bands, the
algorithm used to determine which hours should be randomly chosen for
each hour has been altered to produce a wider spread of hours. Prior to
this, adverts that were added at a similar time, and with similar number
of requested plays in a time band could often end up being chosen to go
into the same hours.
v4.5.25 25th November 2020
Media Editing:
- The Media Editor now supports the additional Categories and
Attributes that have been added in Myriad Playout v5.25
No other changes.
v4.5.24 23rd September 2020
No major changes.
v4.5.22 4th March 2020
The following issues have been fixed:
- Editing Media items: The editor window would
sometimes refuse to close when clicking the cross to close the window.
v4.5.21 26th November 2019
No major changes.
v4.5.18 18th June 2019
The following issues have been fixed:
- Scheduling items in the hour before a DST adjustment (e.g. in the
Uk, 00:00-00:59 of the last Sunday of March) would show an erroneous
message about adverts that have expired not being able to be scheduled.
The adverts were correctly not scheduled, so the actual scheduling was
not affected, just the reporting.
- The Scheduled Warnings report was always showing for Child stations
even if the option was turned off.
v4.5.16 February 2019
Other changes:
- Myriad Advert Manager SE no longer checks the SQL Server Memory
usage option on startup.
v4.5.15 13th November 2018
Multi-Station settings support:
- Support has been added for the new multi-station settings feature
introduced in Myriad v5.15.
- Advert Manager SE now updates the "Last Sent" information for the
Advert Logs in Myriad v5 Scheduled Logs.
Merging Adverts into the Log:
- If an hour is missing from the Scheduled Log, Advert Manager SE will
now only ask you if you want to continue sending if that was the only
hour you were scheduling for. This makes it much easier to schedule if
you regularly schedule for logs that are not fully scheduled in your
music scheduler yet.
Contacts and Users:
- Performance has been significantly improved for updating the
Contacts List for Contacts and Users Directories that have a high number
of Contacts.
Directory History:
- Sending and removing logs from a Myriad Playout Database is now
logged in the Directory v5 history as well.
- Importing and deleting Media is now logged in the Directory v5
history as well.
v4.5.14 12th September 2018
The following issues have been fixed:
- Editing a Media Item that contained a Media List (or attempting to
create a New Media List item) would cause SmoothEdit to exit.
v4.5.12 12th July 2018
No major changes, built to work with Myriad Playout v5.12
v4.5.11 June 2018
Advert Log Path (Database Settings)
- You can now specify a 'relative' path for the advert logs - for
example, the default for new databases is now "Logs\Adverts".
The following issues have been fixed:
- Opening an advert window for an advert once it's been scheduled at
least once could cause ADSE to close.
v4.5.9 4th April 2018
Myriad Playout v5 Multi-Station Support
- Myriad Advert Manager SE now supports Myriad's Multi-Station facility.
- The first time you open a Station Database you will now
be asked to connect it a Myriad v5 Station Database and then to choose
which Station within that database.
- When you schedule Advert Logs, they are now sent to that primary
Station, but also to the Log for any Stations that have that Primary
Station set as it's Parent.
The following issues have been fixed:
- The Advert Window was not showing any information on the Schedule
Tab.
- The Play Logs Report's "Save results as a reconciliation file" was
not exporting to the correct path.
v4.5.8 5th March 2018
No major changes, built to work with Myriad Playout v5.8.
v4.5.7
Contacts and Users
- The Contacts and Users settings windows have been slightly
overhauled to bring them more in line with the V5 version
The following issues have been fixed:
- Clicking 'Schedule' adverts would give you an erroneous message
about not having set the Advert Log Location if the database had not
originally been used by Myriad v4.
v4.5.6
Database Settings:
- You can now edit the ranges used by Ad Manager SE and AutoTrack SE
from the Advert Database Settings window.
The following issues have been fixed:
- Removing scheduled adverts and re-scheduling them would ignore the
Advert Break Category resulting in incorrect adverts being placed in
that break.
- If the first Break in an hour did not have a Reference time set in
the AutoTrack Clock then it would not schedule through to the Myriad v5
Log.
v4.5.5
Initial Release.
Summary:
- This is the first Release of Advert Manager SE, which
is designed to work exclusively with Myriad Playout v5.
- Myriad Advert Manager SE allows you to schedule items
using the familiar Advert Manager environment but it
connects to a Myriad
Playout v5 database to read in all the information about each Media
Item. It also allows you to seamlessly schedule and send/remove logs
to/from the Myriad Playout v5 Log.
- For more information about Myriad Advert Manager SE, please visit
http://broadrad.com/atse
New Advert Scheduling Features:
- You can specify a maximum number of adverts
allowed in any one break, and/or also the maximum break length - for
example you might set it to never allow more than 6 adverts in a break,
or to never allow an advert break to get longer than 3 minutes. Or for
that matter, never allow more than 6 adverts OR more than 3 minutes in
duration.
- This setting is in Advert Database Settings and
applies to all advert breaks so should be thought of as global maximum
advert break limits.
Licensing:
- Myriad Advert Manager SE will run in Evaluation mode
up to 30 times, after that you will need an Advert Manager SE license. These
can be obtained by contacting
hello@broadcastradio.com
MediaWall:
- You can Import new files directly onto the
MediaWall from the Advert card (and edit
them using
a special release of SmoothEdit v5) as well as reading in information from existing Media
items on the MediaWall
- The MediaBrowser lets you easily search and
examine the MediaWall
Play Logs / Copyright Reporting:
- You can use the Play Logs Report to easily
examine how Myriad Playout played out your scheduled logs, as well as
seeing logs for any items that a presenter played manually.
Scheduled Logs:
- Advert Logs are automatically sent to your
Myriad Playout v5 database once they are scheduled. You can also easily
remove scheduled logs from Myriad Playout when unscheduling, or via the
Unschedule window.
